I recently had a very disappointing experience at Steve's Auto World in Maple Grove. I took my car in to have the headlight assembly replaced and specifically requested that they save the old part for me. Upon picking up my car, the receptionist barely acknowledged me, greeting me with an uninterested "how may I help you" while looking down at his desk. I greeted him with good morning, but he didn’t respond. He pulled my information and tossed my key on his desk and immediately requested payment. When I asked if my old part was in the car, his response was simply, "I DON’T KNOW," and he seemed genuinely annoyed by my inquiry/accent. I tried to clarify, but he looked at me with a face of disgust and said, "I DON’T LIKE YOUR ACCENT; I CAN’T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING YOU’RE SAYING." I found this incredibly disrespectful. I told him I wouldn't change my accent just to accommodate his understanding. The negativity continued as I made my payment and asked where my car was parked. His answer? "I DON’T KNOW. Maybe it’s by the pump or somewhere out there." So there I was, keys in hand, trudging through negative-degree weather to find my car. To add insult to injury, the old part was not in the car, and the new headlight's daytime running light wasn’t functioning either, light on dashboard just as it was when I dropped it off, the headlight assembly was not alight properly. See attached photo. Overall, the service was unprofessional and frustrating. The way I was treated felt directly tied to my accent and background, making this experience all the more discouraging. I have never in my life witnessed someone look at others with such disgust and disrespect. I cannot recommend Steve's Auto World based on my encounter.

I went to Discount Tire this past Monday for them to put air in my tires. (Which I purchased from them). They told me that 1 of the tires was at 15 pounds and their equipment won't allow them to put air in them. When I got home I called to setup an appointment. They informed me that they were booked until the following Monday at 5:15 PM. The manager also told me to go to a gas station and put air in from their equipment. He ended the conversation by saying that with the air pressure that low, it was dangerous for me to drive the car. I did ask if I could come in as a walk in, he stated that I would possibly be sitting all day. Today, (Friday) I stopped at Steve's Auto in Maple Grove. Within 30 minutes I found out that the one tire had a bad stem valve. I would highly recommend Steve's Auto World. The staff was friendly and very respectful. Services

Great service to help dead battery gave a ride to vehicle jumped brought in and replaced battery in less than a hour. Thanks so much I would highly recommend.

I set up appointment and they canceled on the spot when I showed up. I provided my number and everything. This is unprofessional. The person was assisting me was an Asian guy. Seemed really rude. Improve your business by sending cancellation instead of having people drive to cancel on them.
