W were out of town and left our car with a son to use while we were gone. With a cold temperature the battery gave out. With one phone call my son was able to get in the next day for a new battery

I have received many different services over the years from here, they have always been fantastic and very nice to me. My previous vehicle was a dodge avenger and they were very honest with me and told me to get a new car because i was Going to be constantly repairing it. They also never tell me to get unnecessary work done like my experiences at jiffy lube and the Nissan dealership. As women i feel Like we are constantly taken advantage of when it comes to cars and Steve’s Auto has never made me feel that way. My only criticism is that their online scheduling system could be better. I sometimes request an appointment and it can be 50/50 on if anyone gets back to me. But if i call Or stop in they are more than accommodating within reason, i just Prefer online scheduling.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Steve's Auto World in Maple Grove. I took my car in to have the headlight assembly replaced and specifically requested that they save the old part for me. Upon picking up my car, the receptionist barely acknowledged me, greeting me with an uninterested "how may I help you" while looking down at his desk. I greeted him with good morning, but he didn’t respond. He pulled my information and tossed my key on his desk and immediately requested payment. When I asked if my old part was in the car, his response was simply, "I DON’T KNOW," and he seemed genuinely annoyed by my inquiry/accent. I tried to clarify, but he looked at me with a face of disgust and said, "I DON’T LIKE YOUR ACCENT; I CAN’T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING YOU’RE SAYING." I found this incredibly disrespectful. I told him I wouldn't change my accent just to accommodate his understanding. The negativity continued as I made my payment and asked where my car was parked. His answer? "I DON’T KNOW. Maybe it’s by the pump or somewhere out there." So there I was, keys in hand, trudging through negative-degree weather to find my car. To add insult to injury, the old part was not in the car, and the new headlight's daytime running light wasn’t functioning either, light on dashboard just as it was when I dropped it off, the headlight assembly was not alight properly. See attached photo. Overall, the service was unprofessional and frustrating. The way I was treated felt directly tied to my accent and background, making this experience all the more discouraging. I have never in my life witnessed someone look at others with such disgust and disrespect. I cannot recommend Steve's Auto World based on my encounter.
